The Story of the Couch

This was the first 'office' for E & R Sales, born in Harry & Lois Gellis' living room back in 1986.  Harry handled sales and Lois handled everything else.  Their daughters, Elissa and Randi, would come home from school each day and inflate 9" mini balloons for grocery accounts from this very couch. Back then, E&R was open just 4 days/week and closed at 3pm each day so Lois could tend to the family. Now, almost 30 years later, E&R now operates out of a former supermarket in the suburbs of Richmond, Virginia. Thanks to a dedicated team with decades of combined industry expertise, E&R gratefully serves thousands of satisfied customers. Lois still oversees inventory and money and Elissa took over as the team's "Head Coach" when Harry retired. Offering more than 2000 items in the balloon, pen and novelty trend categories, the company still ships same day with only a $50 minimum order.  Enjoying our niche in serving the gift, floral, hospital and grocery markets, we understand that it is the customer who brings us our paycheck.
